As financial analyst you will be involved in several projects and tasks related to the cocoa division. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Lead Project Manager with high quality, accurate and timely involvement of long term and short term projects such as; updating Financial Reporting systems and standardisation of business processes, transactional flows and optimisation of logistics, all within the
International cocoa division (Europe, Africa and Asia). The role requires flexibility and travel maybe required.
Description
In this Project Finance position, you will be involved in several projects and tasks such as:
- Assist the Lead Project Manager with high quality, accurate and timely involvement of long term and short term projects
- Participate in various accounting and controlling Commodity related projects.
- It is also in your responsibility to work with different stakeholders around the projects which requires the ability to deal with all kind of different situations.
- To provide with your knowledge and project skills in terms of any kind of long and short term projects which may be requested from the financial, commercial or business development side, due diligence work if required, or coordinating, handling and implementation of new FASB requirements.
- Maintain control environment and improve accounting controls and procedures on a long term and ad hoc basis.
Candidate profile
- Knowledge of general ledger systems
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Ability to function independently
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position within a Commodity House
- Fluent in English
