For one of our prestigious clients, we are looking for the Head of Operations Department to be part of a new and dynamic area in an international bank in Dubai
Responsibilities:
Management and supervision of all the transactions conducted in the Operations department, including documentary credits transactions and guarantees, incoming and outgoing payments and treasury related transactions
Ensure the supervision and management of a small team
Provide technical support to other units of the Branch whenever needed
Maintain and sustain close cooperation with Head Office Departments to ensure smooth, risk free, high quality processing
Maintain ethical/regulatory/compliance standards and high level of service quality
Required profile:
Minimum 5 years of Management level experience in documentary credits, preferably in a transactional commodity finance bank
Understanding of treasury back-office, payments and collections operations is a plus
Good knowledge of English; any other language being an asset
Management, supervision and team building skills
Excellent communication, initiative and solid sense of organisation
