Successful Carbon/Emissions Sales, Trading, & Advisory group wants to expand its German revenues. Carbon experience not critical; solid client book _is_.

My client set up a couple of years ago a 3-leg carbon-based business model: Advisory, Sales&Trading, and Fund Mgt. All legs are going well, but they are noticing Sales&Trading and Advisory opportunities in Germany that they're not taking best advantage of.

They want to bring in someone with an energy sales background (say, origination, marketing, structuring) and a strong German client book. You'll probably have needed at least a few years to develop these relationships -- if you only have a couple of years in the markets, please don't apply unless you're an absolute legend (nb: non-legends trying-it-on will be viewed dimly).

Carbon experience is obviously a plus, but given the close interrelationships in these markets it's not a prerequisite. The package will be structured to include an aggressive performance share. If you're good, you'll be golden. Key requirements: in the German market: good networker, good relationships, good customers who'll desert your current employer without a second thought.
