Gas Trader is required for leading international energy trading firm to be based in Scotland.

Gas Trader required to manage the energy exposure of a variety of energy commodities in order to maximise value and minimise risk

Key accountabilities include managing contract portfolio and other energy assets, developing and implementing trading strategies for propriety trading and strategic hedging and designing and supporting implementation of business process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience (typically c. 5 years) of cross commodity or other related trading, preferably within the energy industry, highly developed analytical skills and an appropriate FSA accreditation. A degree in a numerate discipline is preferred.
