Origination Analyst required for a global group of energy companies, to be based in London

The Origination Analyst is required to identify, develop, negotiate and execute complex structured energy transactions.

Key accountabilities will include building new relationships with customers in need of Energy Management Agreement services including Emissions portfolio owners, as well as driving product innovate in order to provide tailor made energy solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years in an energy commodity department, demonstrating significant gas and power trading/marketing experience with knowledge of both physical and CO2 markets; commercial skills with a proven track record of closing transactions; strong analytical skills; working knowledge of power contract pricing; and possession of a contact network in the electricity and gas business in the major European markets.

Programming skills and fluency in German, French, Spanish or Dutch would be advantageous
